Eden partners with world-class implementation organizations conducting restoration across Tanzania, Kenya, and Zambia. Your contribution provides strategic grants that enable these proven partners to do excellent work—engaging communities through rigorous consent processes, planting millions of indigenous trees, protecting existing forests, building local governance capacity, and creating sustainable livelihoods that reduce pressure on critical ecosystems.
More Than Just Trees
Consider Tanzania’s Rubeho Mountains project: your support helps our partners protect 260,900 hectares of ancient Eastern Arc Mountain forests while planting approximately 11 million indigenous trees across 10,000 hectares of degraded land. This work creates employment and sustainable income for communities across 40 villages—92,458 people whose futures are connected to healthy forests. The protected forests provide water security for millions downstream, including Dar es Salaam’s 7.5 million residents.
Through rigorous partner evaluation, Eden ensures your support reaches organizations demonstrating excellence across environmental, social, and governance dimensions. Partners maintain full autonomy in implementation while Eden provides strategic capital, ongoing monitoring, and transparent reporting on outcomes.

How is my donation used?
Eden allocates resources to maximize field impact: approximately 75–80% of contributions are deployed directly to implementation partners conducting restoration work. The remainder supports partner evaluation and monitoring (10–15%), fundraising (5–8%), and operations (5–8%). We maintain lean headquarters operations so more of your support reaches landscape restoration.
Is my donation tax-deductible?
Yes. Eden: People+Planet is a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization (Tax ID: 95-4804581). Your contribution is tax-deductible to the full extent allowed by law. You’ll receive an automated receipt via email immediately after your gift, and an annual tax summary in January.
How does monthly giving work?
Monthly gifts are processed automatically on the date you set them up. You can update your amount, change your payment method, or cancel anytime through your account—no questions asked. If your payment method expires, we’ll email you to update it before your next charge.
What payment methods do you accept?
We accept credit cards (Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover) and bank account transfers (ACH). All payment processing is secure through Stripe, which meets the highest security standards in the industry.
How do I manage my recurring donation?
Log into your account at giving.eden-plus.org and navigate to “My Subscriptions.” You can update your amount, change your payment method, pause temporarily, or cancel—all without contacting us. Changes take effect immediately.
How is my personal information protected?
Your data is encrypted during transmission and storage. Payment information is never stored on our servers—Stripe handles all sensitive data securely. We don’t sell or share your information with third parties,
What if my donation didn’t go through?
Check your payment method (card expiration, account balance). We send email notifications if payment fails—check your spam folder. If issues persist, contact info@eden-plus.org with your donation details and we’ll help troubleshoot.
